ABOUT HANGRY LBC
We are Long Beach born and raised locals working to stop the damaging effects hunger has on individuals, children and families. We are striving to provide Long Beach residence suffering from hunger with 24/7 access to nutritious food. Our main goal is to raise awareness for change, raise funding to support hunger fighting programming and increase accessibility to food through our GIVING GARDENS.
THE GIVING GARDENS are small home gardens grown by people wanting to give to those needing nutritious fruits and vegetables to stop the silent issue of hunger. These GIVING GARDENS are one approach to encourage locals to give if they can to help those in need. By finding solutions to food insecurity issues people can reset and move forward. We just can't think clearly when we are hungry!
